You would certainly be spoilt for choices when it comes to choosing a YEP in NUS. What to do?
1) Know what you want to achieve as a participant.
2) Find out what exactly YEP is achieving for. It could be the activities or the goal itself.
3) Find out the schedule of the YEP and plan yours as well. We have got queries from prospective participants who asked whether their FYP, SEP or holidays would clash with our YEP or not. For your information, BHBH 5 is from 10th December to 29th December.
NVAC alone offers 4 YEP groups and there are more from other societies: USP (1), Rotaract Club (1) and Community Service Club (1) as well. Find out more about them and make a more informed decision. The reason that made you join a YEP will be the one that sustains you throughout the entire semester.
Our sister YEPs from NVAC:
Project Sang Khem: http://projectsangkhem.blogspot.com/ To Cambodia
Project Mam Xanh: to Vietnam
Project PT: to Myanmar
Thanks
